Mary Ella Douglas is a Managing Partner with Make It Happen Now, LLC, a consulting practice helping organizations and nonprofits to achieve optimal engagement of their volunteers. She has more than 30 years experience in nonprofit senior management positions at national, regional, state, and local levels. Her expertise includes training and program development, facilitation, Board development, strategic planning, performance-based management, and volunteer administration. She is Immediate Past Chair of the Marketing Committee for the Council on Certification in Volunteer Administration (CCVA). Douglas is Past President of the Congress of Lung Association Staff (having served on the National Board for the American Lung Association) and Response Sexual Assault Support Services. She resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
