Cristina Johnson is a dedicated volunteer and community engagement professional with over 20 years of experience co-creating inclusive, community-driven service programs and pathways to public service. She serves as a Director of Volunteer & Community Engagement in the food banking sector and sits on advisory boards for the UW–Madison Community Advisors on Research Design and Strategies (CARDS) and the Lussier Community Education Center.
Johnson's career spans leadership roles at the YMCA of Greater Seattle, grassroots community centers, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she served as Assistant Director of Civic Engagement and Communications. She is passionate about community-centric volunteerism, asset-based engagement and trauma-informed, equity-driven programming that addresses the root-causes of disparities in communities.
