Traci Lato-Smith, a Certified Volunteer Administrator, has spent her career developing systems for engaging volunteers to support mission-focused work. Lato-Smith has created vibrant volunteer programs for organizations in the fields of social justice, senior advocacy, and education, and she consults and trains on building infrastructure for effective volunteer engagement across all sectors.

In addition to her professional work in the field of Volunteer Engagement, Lato-Smith  volunteers her own time in a variety of ways. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for Denver DOVIA (Directors of Volunteers In Agencies) and has presented at the Colorado Nonprofit Association Fall Conference, the Colorado Conference on Volunteerism, and the AL!VE National Summit on Volunteer Engagement. Lato-Smith  also serves on educational advisory and accountability committees at her kids’ schools, as well as volunteering in the classroom and with her children at Mile High United Way.
