Goopy Parke Weaving is Program Quality and Impact Manager with AVI, with some 17 years experience in international development. Weaving has managed volunteering, technical assistance, and research projects across the Pacific region, including the Australian Government’s volunteer program and the Pacific Technical Assistance Mechanism (PACTAM). Weaving was a technical adviser on governance to the Regional Assistance Mission to Solomon Islands (RAMSI) and electoral program manager, and has held senior management roles on gender research and development programs in the Asia-Pacific region with the International Women’s Development Agency (IWDA).
