Allyson Drinnon has been managing volunteers since 1997. With a B.S. degree in psychology from Vanderbilt University and graduate certificate in Non-Profit Management from Indiana University, she works with and collaborates with people globally to promote volunteerism as a means to solving the social problems in communities. An alumni of the American Express Leadership Academy, Drinnon also earned her CVA in 2004 and is an active member of IAVE and the FORUM Volunteer Groups Alliance Steering Committee. She serves on the governing board of her local charter school and the Organization Committee of the local Main Street program in Georgia and enjoys volunteering in her community with her two children. Through her experience as a local volunteer and as a global administrator of volunteer programs, Drinnon is excited to contribute to e-Volunteerism and continue to bring to light the voices of volunteers and volunteer managers around the world.
