Louise Lee

Louise Lee joined Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand in 2004 as an academic in the Department of Management www.massey.ac.nz . She is a Research Associate of the New Zealand Centre for SME research http://sme-centre.massey.ac.nz. Her research interests focus on issues of corporate social responsibility and particularly business social initiatives, such as employee volunteering and business community partnerships. Her PhD from Deakin University, Melbourne, focused on examining business non-profit partnerships that address social issues in the New Zealand context. Dr. Lee’s most recent research projects have examined business and non-profit perspectives on employee volunteering in New Zealand, specifically the role of brokers who facilitate business non-profit partnerships, particularly partnerships that involve employee volunteering.

Dr. Lee has a strong commitment to the voluntary sector and is a Board member of Volunteer Wellington www.volunteerwellington.org.nz and a business community advisor on the National Volunteer, Information and Support Advisory Committee of the Cancer Society of New Zealand.
