Lindsay Liprando is the Online Bookstore Manager at Energize, Inc., which hardly describes the variety of things she does for the company. She initiated and writes the Energize Book Blog (blog.energizeinc.com), the only online forum for discussing books in volunteer management.
Liprando practices what Energize preaches. She is a leader of volunteers in an all-volunteer organization, Books Through Bars (www.booksthroughbars.org), which provides free books to incarcerated individuals. She is also a volunteer adult literacy tutor – her most recent student just passed his American citizenship test.
