Anne Stevenson is an Extension Educator and Extension Professor with the University of Minnesota Extension Center for Youth Development. Her work focuses on volunteer systems development, and creating engaging learning environments and experiences for youth and adult learners. She gives leadership to the design, development and delivery of training and educational experiences for Minnesota 4-H volunteers and staff, as well as professional youth workers and educators. She teaches online courses for youth workers and Extension volunteer managers. Stevenson also blogs for the University of Minnesota’s Youth Development Insight.
Stevenson has worked in Extension for 25 years, with prior experiences as a residence hall director and instructor at St. Cloud State University, and as a program associate with the National Association of Secondary School Principal’s division of student activities. She has an MS degree in information media, training and human resource development from St. Cloud State University.
Stevenson and her husband Will have four children, which has offered extensive opportunity to actively engage as volunteers in school, faith-based, and community organizations! Her favorite has been establishing a student council at her local elementary school.
