Mariana Vieira da Rocha


Mariana Vieira da Rocha, originally from Portugal, started volunteering when she was 7 years old and has not stopped since. She's moved to the UK 11 years ago and has been working in Volunteering and Higher Education for the past 10 years.
She is currently the Volunteering and Civic Engagement Manager at the University of West London, but also the national Chair of the UK Student Volunteering Network, which supports and brings together volunteer leaders from Higher Education Institutions across the UK and champions student volunteering.
Recently established as a freelancer, Vieira da Rocha provides consultancy and training facilitation in a range of different topics and specialises in helping people connect to opportunities they feel passionate about.
