Melissa M. Gilmore, M.Ed, CVA, has worked in various capacities with volunteers for over 25 years. She is an accomplished trainer, facilitator, teacher, and volunteer administrator. Gilmore also has expertise in leading fund development efforts, organizing special events, marketing and branding, and board development. She has a comprehensive knowledge of nonprofits and nonprofit management. Gilmore is President of the Greater Richmond Association of Volunteer Administrators, and she is also the President of the local P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) chapter in Richmond, Virginia. She received her Certification in Volunteer Administration in 2013. Gilmore is a Managing Partner with Make It Happen Now, LLC.
